A Walk on Christmas day
Young people and children of the «Christ is the Answer» church (the city of Rivne) have prepared a theatrical production «A Walk on Christmas day» for children’s evangelizations.
The first festive meetings were held on December 27 in the Karavan hotel complex, which was attended by more than 180 boys and girls from the villages of Bila Krynitsa and Gorodyshche (Rivne district).
A well – thought-out script, colorful costumes, and artfully constructed scenery-all this helped the audience to plunge into the events of ancient days, when the Angels announced the wonderful news to the shepherds: «Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.» (Luke 2:10-11).
«We decided to make a performance about Christmas in order, first of all, to tell young listeners the true essence of this holiday in a beautiful and accessible way. It so happens that among all the Christmas attributes, the event that is the cause of Christmas – the birth of Jesus Christ, is lost. The play «A Walk on Christmas day» is an opportunity to plunge into the festive, Christmas atmosphere and understand what Jesus was born for» – Taras Kharchuk, a father with many children, amateur director of the play called «A Walk on Christmas day».
The team prepared interesting contests, for participation in which children received prizes, and finally each child received a delicious, sweet gift in a beautiful Christmas box specially designed for children’s evangelization projects.
Christmas children’s meetings were held in the city of Kostopil (Kostopil Special School of I-III stages of the Rivne City Council) and the city of Rivne («Soniakh» theater studio of the «House of Gospel» church).

All areas of service of the community are carried out through voluntary donations of caring people. The most important thing is not the size of the donation, but the attitude and condition of the heart. God sees our needs and seeks to deprive us of our worries. He also wants to see the love and sacrifice of our grateful hearts. «Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver!» (2 Cor. 9:7).
