About us

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Matthew 18:20

Our History

It all started in 2016. Pastor Taras Sen, who previously carried out charitable and spiritual activities in Donbas, was forced to move to Rivne. He had a clear revelation from God - it is necessary to establish a Church. Together with several brothers from the Sverdlovsk church, the pastor began to rent a conference room at the “Myr” hotel. Thus, in January 2016, all those who responded to the call to learn more about God and began to live for Him became the beginning of the church "Christ is the answer". Ministers actively worked on God's field – they newspapers, calendars, other Christian literature were distributed among the population. Ophthalmologic clinics were held for pensioners where it was possible to check your eyesight for free and to get the glasses as a gift. A lot of meetings with settlers, children's parties and other charitable events were organized. In February, God urged the pastor to preach on television. Taras Sen has agreed with Rivne-1 TV channel, where the program "So says the Bible" began broadcasting. The next were Zhytomyr and Khmelnytsky TV, TV channels in Lugansk and Slavyansk, as well as on satellite TV channel CNL. To this day, Christian broadcasts are on several regional TV channels. With the arrival of the warm weather, the ministers began organizing the children's sports grounds and camps, and after a while they began to carry people to rest in the Carpathians. Step by step, God opened the door to preach the gospel. In the summer 2016, there was the first water baptism in the church, where several people made a covenant with God and became members of the community. During the last three years, Christian missionary community "Christ is the answer" is active in Rivne. Brothers and sisters continue to pay a lot of attention to the socially vulnerable segments of the population - children, pensioners and victims of the war in the Donbas. The religious community "Christ is the answer" constantly cooperates with other churches. Ministers of other churches distribute printed materials of the church "Christ is the answer", take equipment for the organization of children's holidays and other charitable events. A wide range of activities of the church "Christ is the answer" became possible thanks to charitable donations of many christians who are not indifferent to the fate of the country, thanks to those who support the activities of missionaries.

What do we believe in?

We believe
We believe
  • We believe that the Bible is a God-inspired book given to us by God (2 Timothy 3:16).
It was written by the prophets and apostles of God under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Word of God builds our faith and beliefs (2 Peter 1:21).
  • We believe in Triune God: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost (1 John 5:7).
  • We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, resurrected, ascended into heaven, and would come to the earth to judge the living and the dead for the second time (2 Timothy 4:1).
  • We believe in the holy water baptism (1 Peter 3:21, Mark 16:16).
  • We believe in the unconditional love of God to the people and the forgiveness of all sins (John 3:16, 1 John 1:9).
  • We believe that man is the image and likeness of God, not the monkey (Genesis 1:27).
  • We believe in the two resurrections of the dead – the righteous and the unjust (Acts 24:15, Revelation 20:5).
  • We believe there will be a fair God’s judgment (Hebrews 9:27, Revelation 20:11-15).
  • We believe in the existence of real Hell and Paradise (2 Corinthians 12:4, Luke 16:23).

Give

All areas of service of the community are carried out through voluntary donations of caring people. The most important thing is not the size of the donation, but the attitude and condition of the heart. God sees our needs and seeks to deprive us of our worries. He also wants to see the love and sacrifice of our grateful hearts. «Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver!» (2 Cor. 9:7).
