Charitable camp with the «Christ is the answer» mission in the Carpathians
From January 11 to 16, a charitable camp from the «Christ is the Answer» mission was held in the Carpathians. Within four years, this is the 23rd trip with people who want to discover something new and get charged with bright emotions.
More than 50 people went on an exciting trip to the mountains. Among the vacationers there were 10 orphans from the Rivne region and 16 people from the frontline towns of Toretsk and Marinka in the Donetsk region – these are representatives of local authorities, a mother with an adopted daughter, a school director with a friendly team.
Fascinating views, clean mountain air, dense forests and stormy rivers – young people, couples and mothers with children were delighted with what they could see.
«I really liked the dinosaur park, as well as the meetings that were held every day. I realized that I should listen to my parents and read the Bible,» – Pavlo Rasskazov, 8 years old, Rivne region.
«The impressions of the camp are wonderful. I liked the scenery, the nature. And, of course, sincere conversations that touched the heart, there is something to think about. I personally remember that we do not see God, but we see His actions, and we feel these actions in everyday life. I wish my friends to postpone everything for 5 days, be sure to go to the camp and get in a good mood for the whole year,» – Antonina Sharafon, teacher of physics and mathematics, Toretsk.
In August 2020, some teachers from the city of Toretsk traveled with the mission in Transcarpathia. And this time God gave the opportunity to admire the beauty of the winter Carpathian mountains.
During the days spent in the Carpathians, the camp participants visited Bukovel twice (those who wanted to go skiing), walked through the dinosaur park, saw the Guk and Probiy waterfalls, and later the whole group traveled through the mountains in jeeps. Every day, the organizers held general meetings, where participants listened and pondered upon various topics: the mistakes of one of the first people – Cain; about the occult and its consequences; eschatological events; the atonement at Calvary; the history and development of North and South Korea. The ministers shared their testimonies from life, showed videos about the activities of the church and the mission – the program was so rich and interesting that no one noticed how 5 days of rest flew by.

But my colleagues dreamt of getting to the winter Carpathians, and their dreams came true. This bright and unique», – Olexiy Golovatyi, the headmaster of secondary school №7, the city of Toretsk.
Two thematic meetings were held for families and for young people. The participants were able to learn more about each other and get answers to practical questions. The purpose of the ministers of the «Christ is the answer» church is to show humanity to people, as God teaches through the Bible. This attitude to others changes the world for the better and glorifies the Name of Christ.

God blessed the trip in a special way, because no one got sick or injured during the entire holiday, although this often happens on dangerous ski trails. Definitely, it is worth traveling and expanding your horizons, because we only live on this earth once! And the «Christ is the Answer» mission will continue to organize exciting trips to spread the Gospel, as well as to see again and again the happy faces of people who for the first time in their lives met with the beauty of the picturesque Ukrainian Carpathians.

All areas of service of the community are carried out through voluntary donations of caring people. The most important thing is not the size of the donation, but the attitude and condition of the heart. God sees our needs and seeks to deprive us of our worries. He also wants to see the love and sacrifice of our grateful hearts. «Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver!» (2 Cor. 9:7).
