Easter banners in Rivne city centre
As well as Christians all over the world, the «Christ is the Answer» church in the city of Rivne annually celebrates Easter with great joy.
All over the world, some people spend several days fussing over the preparation of Easter bread and colored eggs, others collect the Easter basket, and the ministers use the perfect opportunity to tell people about the true essence of the holiday.
The resurrection of Christ is one of the main events in the history of mankind. To remind the residents of Rivne city of God’s manifestation of love, the community organized an exhibition of banners in the city center. The ministers set up five evangelistic tents, where passers-by could take christian literature, newspapers, calendars, and just ask questions for free. Between the tents there were nine banners with verses from the Bible, which tell about the essence of the Easter holiday. They depict the events that occurred on the eve of the resurrection of Christ.

Of course, some people still do not know why it is worth celebrating the resurrection of Christ and how to do it correctly. And it does not matter at what age someone will make a major discovery for themselves, because a changed heart is much more significant than the opinion of others.

And when you believe and pray, God supports you in everything. The exhibition is wonderful, thank you for the books for children» – Olga Kostetska, English teacher.
During the day, the ministers stood at the tents and carried the Gospel to passers-by. The church has printed 130 thousand copies of the Easter edition of the «Christ is the Answer» newspaper, and about 30 thousand of them have already been distributed by volunteers in Rivne: through mailboxes, tents and during personal meetings.

It is important to understand that this is the meaning of life. We want to tell people that God loves all people, loves sinners, and He is risen, so that everyone who believes in Him has eternal life» – Sergiy Nesteruk, Director of the Agape mission in Ukraine.

All areas of service of the community are carried out through voluntary donations of caring people. The most important thing is not the size of the donation, but the attitude and condition of the heart. God sees our needs and seeks to deprive us of our worries. He also wants to see the love and sacrifice of our grateful hearts. «Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver!» (2 Cor. 9:7).
