Free eyeglasses for residents of the city of Rivne
On October 19, The «Christ is the answer» church held a charity event – an ophthalmological clinic for vision diagnostics.
The doctor consulted 50 residents of the city of Rivne and prescribed them the necessary eyeglasses. The brothers and sisters put a lot of effort into making sure that everyone got help. Visitors were treated to fragrant tea and cookies, communicated, were said a kind word, were given Christian books and other literature as a gift. Most importantly, the audience heard the good news of the salvation from sins that Jesus Christ gives.
«We are doing a good job because it is the Lord’s command. So that people can better understand the Gospel message, we tell them about Jesus Christ, His life, death and resurrection, as all this concerns each person personally. Reading the Bible, we remind what awaits us in the future, why people suffer, and how God answers these and other questions» – Olexandr Prokopovych, missionary, the city of Rivne.
Visitors made it clear that they liked the promotion and are already waiting for the next time. They spoke positively about the doctor who conscientiously performed her work.
It is important for everyone to feel attention, willingness to help, or listen when needed. And for christians, such events are a good opportunity to bear witness to God and His love. Therefore, the organizers of the campaign are grateful to the Lord and all those who contribute to good deeds for the opportunity to serve as many people as possible.

All areas of service of the community are carried out through voluntary donations of caring people. The most important thing is not the size of the donation, but the attitude and condition of the heart. God sees our needs and seeks to deprive us of our worries. He also wants to see the love and sacrifice of our grateful hearts. «Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver!» (2 Cor. 9:7).
