Holiday for the sisters of the «Christ is the answer»
Every year in the first half of March, the community of the «Christ is the Answer» in Rivne is getting ready for the traditional event, which already has become traditional – a holiday for the sisters. On March 13, the brothers organized a small meeting where they congratulated the women and thanked them for the warmth they give to others every day, regardless of the weather outside.
Girls, mothers, and older ladies were able to feel truly happy and needed. Contests, songs, testimonies, delicious treats in a cozy decorated hall – men made every effort to take care of women with attention, because they deserve it. Both the sisters from the church and the participants of the camps in the Carpathians and other events were invited to the celebration.
«Today I realized how wonderful it is to be a woman. To be sensual, caring, to be a mom. A very large part of what happens in the family lies on the shoulders of a woman. And I am happy that God has entrusted me to be the guardian of the hearth, the support for my husband and children. I thank God who saved me and gave me an understanding of all this» – Tetiana Tyukhtiy, cook, Olybiv village.
There was an inspiring sermon about how God worked and how many more things He can do through women. Several ministers from other churches attended the meeting: they shared warm words and congratulations, the instructions from the Word of God for women.
«I had a very great pleasure at this holiday. It was fun, spontaneous, and most importantly, it was attended by older people, young people, and even children. Contests with a sense of humor, everything is so beautifully conducted, organized – it will be remembered for a long time» – Anna Zubritska, retired, Kostopil.
Every day, women work diligently to ensure that their relatives live comfortably. Just like service, people need to have a rest and to spend time with family and friends. And the one who works, first of all, deserves rest in order to be spiritually and physically renewed. Therefore, after the main part of the meeting, the guests moved to a festively decorated cafe, where they were able to continue their communication over a delicious dinner.

God has arranged the world in such a way that man himself becomes rude, becomes hard-hearted, turns into an egoist. And thanks to the woman, he begins to approach the image of Christ. Every sister received a gift: a flower and a chocolate bar, and heard many warm words. The brothers prepared songs and fun quizzes. Those present enjoyed pleasant and meaningful conversations, prayers, and heard useful advice for the future from senior members of the church. A wonderful end to the evening was a festive salute.
«God commanded the people of Israel to celebrate certain holidays, so that they would remember God and that life would be more interesting. Today, the Lord has given a holiday for our sisters. The best reward was to see sincere gratitude in the eyes of the sisters! Thank God for every woman in our church, for the opportunity to see and feel pleasant moments in life. We are glad that He helps to organize warm family evenings for our beloved sisters. Dear women, live in the Lord, breathe in Him, enjoy communion with Him. And be a light and a blessing to others!

All areas of service of the community are carried out through voluntary donations of caring people. The most important thing is not the size of the donation, but the attitude and condition of the heart. God sees our needs and seeks to deprive us of our worries. He also wants to see the love and sacrifice of our grateful hearts. «Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver!» (2 Cor. 9:7).
