Thank God for everything you have!

On October 3, the «Christ is the Answer» church of the city of Rivne celebrated Thanksgiving Day. The purpose of the meeting is to thank God for life, health, peace, harvest and salvation from sins.

Many guests came to the festive service, ministers from other churches were invited: Andrii Yatskov (pastor of the Baptist community), Sano Gukasian (pastor of the «Courage» church), Yuri Borysik (pastor of the «Kingdom of God» church), Alexander Doliuk (pastor of the «Victory» church). Each of them shared a word of instruction from the Bible.
Children also participated in the meeting: they read poems, sang songs about gratitude to God. Every word, song, and theme decor in the design of the hall created a warm and festive atmosphere.
The ministers prayed for healing from diseases and for the needs of people.
The brothers and sisters prepared a pleasant surprise for those present: they were treated to fragrant tea and delicious pastries.
Thanksgiving is a good tradition to remember about gratitude to God, which is often lacking. Without God’s help, people would not be able to grow and harvest crops, would not have everything necessary for life.
«There is a law in the world that cannot be changed or abolished. This is the law of sowing and reaping. What was sown in the spring, we will collect in the fall. If a person «sows» lies, enmity, quarrels, evil, can he «reap» good? This biblical principle works regardless of time and circumstances. Everyone should think about what his life is filled with» – Pastor Taras Sen.

Give

All areas of service of the community are carried out through voluntary donations of caring people. The most important thing is not the size of the donation, but the attitude and condition of the heart. God sees our needs and seeks to deprive us of our worries. He also wants to see the love and sacrifice of our grateful hearts. «Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver!» (2 Cor. 9:7).
