What do we do?
The purpose of social ministry is to provide psychological, spiritual, material and financial assistance to different categories of people in need. Our missionaries visit the elderly in specialized institutions, at the hospices, and at their own homes. They provide people with products and other things those people might need. Such deeds cause joy on the faces and contribute to the fact that people begin to accept not only help, but also the Word of God.
Psychological support
In telephone mode, the ministers of the Church "Christ is the answer" constantly communicate with prisoners and other people who seek psychological and spiritual support. Calls and parcels with religious literature help to strengthen faith and gain spiritual freedom. If you need psychological support, call one of the numbers: +38 (099) 236-54-20 +38 (097) 167-54-62
Helping people with addiction
The Church helps people with addiction to get into rehabilitation centers and adjust to a healthy lifestyle with God. In such places people receive liberation from addictions and strength for a healthy christian life. If you need help in the fight against addiction or support, call one of the numbers: +38 (098) 803 37 72 +38 (097) 167-54-62
Food parcels
Unfortunately, with high prices and low pensions, not all people can fully provide themselves with the necessary food. We try to make life a little easier for those people who have no one to call for help. Regularly we buy food parcels for low-income pensioners and distribute them in the Rivne region.
Cooperation with social services
Several parishioners of the community are volunteers of the Center of social services under the Rivne district administration. In cooperation with local authorities, they are actively working with those who need help.
Give
All areas of service of the community are carried out through voluntary donations of caring people. The most important thing is not the size of the donation, but the attitude and condition of the heart. God sees our needs and seeks to deprive us of our worries. He also wants to see the love and sacrifice of our grateful hearts. «Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver!» (2 Cor. 9:7).
